This piece came out of lockdown, during the height of the pandemic — when all we could do was send our love from two metres away.

I was still in the early stages of learning Cinema 4D at the time, and like most people, I was stuck indoors, stuck in a routine, and stuck in my head a bit. That sense of repetition — the same walls, same walks, same everything — felt like a loop. So I made one.

In a way, you could consider me the ball in this animation — bouncing between invisible boundaries, going nowhere fast, but still in motion.

A small project, but one that captured a very specific feeling from a very strange time.
