HOUDINI EXPLORATION
I’d just finished replaying Pokémon Soul Silver on an emulator and figured it was a good moment to dive into Houdini. After watching a few tutorials, it hit me: this is nothing like Cinema 4D. Totally different beast.
But hey, the best way to learn is to jump in, right? So I followed a tutorial on liquid simulation, made some tweaks to make it my own, added a bit of camera movement, and threw on a Redshift shader that reminded me of Gyarados — because, why not?
A fun little experiment that mixed new tools with some nostalgic inspiration.
