Spliced was a project from a new games company that approached Territory to create their ident. Their goal was to capture both their capabilities and their passion for technology, visualising the passage of time from the dawn of the internet to the present day. The ident needed to show that the company embodied every stage of this journey, drawing on key cultural and technological moments to anchor each era.

The brief began loosely, which gave us space to explore bold directions before refining the concept into a clear narrative. Working as part of a small team of two motion designers and an art director, with a creative director overseeing, we started with group ideation sessions and then divided the sequence into individual shots. Each designer took ownership of their moments while ensuring the piece remained cohesive.

I was responsible for several shots in the final film, developing them from initial style frames through to animation. This page highlights the shots I worked on, along with some early explorations and developments that shaped the final outcome.
