VIVAIA KIDS LINE PRODUCT SHOE
This project for Vivaia started out looking like a fun, playful 3D video for their children’s shoe line — bright, bouncy, and full of charm. In reality, it involved some fairly uncooperative 3D scans, a tight budget, and a turnaround time best described as “ambitious.”
Still, I took it on happily. It was a good excuse to explore some of the newer MoGraph tools in the latest Cinema 4D release, and I’ve always enjoyed the problem-solving side of making things work when the odds aren’t exactly stacked in your favour.
I worked with a good friend and regular collaborator. We were given a loose concept and asked to shape it into a finished piece — from storyboarding and styleframes to animatic and final delivery. A quick, collaborative project that we essentially directed ourselves.
I’ve included it here partly because I like the end result, and partly to show that not everything I work on is dark and moody — sometimes it involves flying shoes and pastel gradients.
