Marvelous Designer, Cinema 4D, After Effects, Megascans (RIP). I wanted to dip into Marvelous and see what it could do — this was my first proper play with it. I’ll come back to it again one day, but this little project was my intro.

It was during lockdown (again), I was 22, and mildly existential. Everything felt like it was drifting further from nature, more automated, more dystopian. That definitely shaped where this ended up.

There was no brief — just a mood, a bit of time, and the urge to try something new. I built the animation and renders in Cinema 4D, my digital comfort zone, while letting Marvelous handle the cloth side of things. Nice when the software plays well together.
